Nokia N8 vs Nokia X3 – 02 Touch n Type

Both expected to release the same time but none know the exact time of availability. The Nokia X3-02 Touch and Type being announced in August while the N8 in April both are expected to be the saviours of the Nokia smartphones.
The AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors makes it significant to buy the Nokia N8 because of is quality but the Nokia X3-02 having a TFT resistive touchscreen, 256K colors makes it less interesting to buy the device.
The rival has a screen with 240 x 320 pixels, 2.4 inches while the N8 comes with a much better display of 360 x 640 pixels, 3.5 inches.
The amazing N8 comes with marvellous things such as Multi-touch input method, Proximity sensor for auto turn-off, Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate and a Scratch resistant Gorilla glass display which is quiet good for the amount of phones dropped every year but the Nokia X3-02 doesn’t come with any of those functions.
As our usual Nokia’s, both of the phones have a 3.5 mm audio jack but the X3-02 having an advantage of a dedicated music key  which the N8 doesn’t cater for.
The internal memory available in the N8 is a extremely big amount of storage of 16GB and 256MB RAM, 512 MB ROM and the Nokia X3-02 comes with an untold amount of memory but all I know is that it can take a MicroSD card of up to 16GB.
Both of the competitors do support the function of HSDPA and HSUPA with an estimation speed of  10.2 Mbps and 2.0 Mbps.
The Nokia X3-02 comes with the regular Series 40 6th Edition but the n8 comes with a newly developed Symbian^3 OS which is told to be a great achievement for Nokia.
The most important features needed are finally available in the N8 which are TV-out (720p video) via HDMI and composite, Dolby Digital Plus via HDMI and an Anodized aluminum casing which is a very good idea to include it but the Nokia X3-02 comes with all the IM tools which is also available in our Blackberries of today.
The N8 comes with an amazing amount of battery hours of 390 h (2G) and 400 h (3G) but then the Nokia X3-02 delievers even something bigger of 408(2G) and the same for 3G.
My opinion, if you want the Nokia X3-02 for the IM only, then rather buy the Blackberry 8520 but for daily use then the Nokia N8 is the best choice you can get.
